Citizens Advice and Food Bank referrals

If families are struggling financially due to the changes in childcare or work as a result of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), the first point of contact for help should be:

They will be able to offer advice and if appropriate make a referral to the local food bank using a voucher.

The food bank voucher will provide 3 days emergency food. 

Other professionals who might be able to provide food bank referral vouchers include doctors, health visitors and social workers.
